By using or accessing the website, you agree to the terms and conditions hereafter, which govern the relationship between Soft Furnishings Ltd and each customer. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you may not use or access this Website. These terms and conditions may change from time to time so please check and read them regularly.

Any statutory consumer rights enjoyed by you are not affected in any way by these terms and conditions of sale.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Prior to your order we recommend that you take advantage of our free swatch order service and customer support team if you have any concerns.

1. Products & Representation

The products listed on our website are photographed and sometimes digitally rendered. We do our very best to ensure that the products and their descriptions are listed accurately and are a true representation, however we will not be held liable for the variations including, but not limited to, the list below:

1.1 Individual PC and monitor settings may vary and along with this the appearance of shade, tone and fabric.

1.2 Variations can occur with dyes and batch fabric printing.

1.3 Due to fabric colour batching, we advise that you do not use any previous orders for colour or pattern matching.

1.4 Pattern swatches may not show the complete pattern range of a fabric.

1.5 Whilst all our products are made to the highest quality, due to fabric cutting there is an allowance variance of +/- 3 cm on all product orders. Allow for a 5% variance in pattern matching. Any product sizes falling within the allowance will not qualify for any refund or compensation.

2. Acceptance of Order

Order acceptance will be at the point of cleared payment. We will endeavour to contact you if we have any issues with your order or products ordered. We cannot be held liable for order cancellations for reasons that are beyond our control. We also have the right to cancel your order if: 

2.1 We have insufficient stock to make and deliver the goods ordered or if a product you have ordered has become discontinued.

2.2 If you have placed your order from an island or country where we do not deliver.

2.3 If there has been an error on the pricing listed on the website.

3. Measurements

3.1 At Curtains.com we offer Made to Measure curtains, we cannot alter or cancel your order nor can we accept returns or refund requests due to the bespoke nature of the order. This includes curtain accessories and cushions.

3.2 Please take care to check all the measurements provided to us and on your emailed order confirmation.

4. Purchase & Price

4.1 To make a purchase from the website you must register or place an order as guest. By using our website, you accept our terms and conditions and Privacy Policy. You warrant that the information you have supplied as part of the registration or order process is accurate, current and complete.

4.2 The price is as per the price described on the website and on your order confirmation.

4.3 Prices are subject to change without notice.

4.4 Delivery charges will depend on your order and the size and weight of products ordered. Deliveries to certain areas may be subject to extra charges after an order has been placed, e.g. Republic of Ireland and Channel Islands, we will inform you of the extra charge if there are any. You will have the option to accept the charges or cancel your order if you are not happy with the additional charge.

4.5 Before you place your order, we reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on this website and it is your responsibility to read these terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website.

4.6 Purchases you make on the website must only be paid through the website’s payment facility, alternatively, you can call our customer service team on 0203-848-0800 to have them process your payment over the phone. We use SagePay to process our payments, this platform accepts payments from various major card types and Paypal. 4.7 When you place an order, you authorise our technical partner Sage Pay Europe Limited to take payment for the purchase price and agree to our terms and conditions. Your order is deemed to be accepted once payment has been successful.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery timeframes advertised are subject to delays for reason beyond our control and at peak times. Information on delivery times is as follows:

5.2 Any delivery days advertised relate to working days.

5.3 Delivery timeframes may be subject to delays at peak postal times.

5.4 Non Mainland UK delivery times may vary and are subject to additional cost. If there is an additional cost, you will be advised at the time of order and have the right to accept the costs or cancel your order.

5.5 Products must be signed for by someone over 18 years of age.

6. Returns & Refunds

In the rare event where our product may have been manufactured with a fault or damaged by a courier you have 48 hours from receipt of delivery to contact us to report the fault.

6.1 It is your responsibility to contact our Customer Service Team at the earliest possible time after noticing a fault and inform them of the full details of the fault.

6.2 We may require photographs, digital images or proof of the fault to resolve the issue for you.

6.3 You may be required to return the item to us for inspection.

6.4 Where we have confirmed the item has been supplied faulty or the courier has been responsible for a fault a full replacement will be given.

6.5 We are not required to provide a refund or replacement for any damage caused by the customer once delivery has been signed for.

7. Warranty

We offer a 12 months’ warranty on all our Made to Measure Curtains and Readymade products.

7.1 Contact our Customer Service Team at the earliest possible time after noticing a fault.

7.2 We have a right to ask for any photographs, digital images etc of the fault to help us resolve the issue for you.

7.3 You may be required to return the item to us for inspection free of charge.

7.4 Where the fault is deemed that of the manufacturer or courier a full replacement will be given.

7.5 We are not required to provide a refund or replacement for any damage caused by the customer once delivery has been signed for.

7.6 The warranty on our products only cover manufacturing faults and do not cover the following:

  • 7.6.1 Any shrinkage due to atmospheric conditions, up to 5%.
  • 7.6.2 Any shrinkage due to unadvised steam cleaning or similar.
  • 7.6.3 Where flame proofing or chemicals have been used to treat fabric after delivery.
  • 7.6.4 Natural fading of fabrics and dyes.
  • 7.6.5 Where unadvised storage or use has caused a defect.
  • 7.6.6 Where the product has been altered after delivery.
  • 7.6.7 Where the product has been sold on.
  • 7.6.8 Non domestic or Business use.
  • 7.6.9 Installed but not in accordance with our accompanying written instructions.
  • 7.6.10 Normal wear and tear and exposure to the elements.
8. Recommendations

8.1 When using our website, you may notice that we offer recommendations, inspiration, suggest products we think you might like and could perhaps miss when you're browsing the site.

These suggestions and recommendations can be based on your past purchases, top sellers, ratings and recently-viewed products. We determine your interests and suggest new products you may like; additionally, we compare your interests and buying habits with the interests and habits of other customers, to show you relevant products.

9. Competitions, Campaigns and Special Offers

9.1 When you enter one of our competitions or other promotional offer cannott be used in conjunction with other offers. Please see the terms and conditions relating to any particular offer, which should be read in conjunction with these terms and conditions. Promotional codes, cash back offers and affiliate promotions are not valid for trade orders.

10. Price Promise Terms and Conditions

10.1. We'll match our competitor’s current UK store or website price.
10.2. The competitor’s item must be brand new, identical to ours (colour, size etc.), and offered on the same terms.
10.3. We and the competitor must have stock ready for delivery.
10.4. We must be able to verify the competitor’s price and stock position.
10.5. We’ll match the price of an item; not delivery charges or other services.
10.6. Cannot be used with any other offer. We will match only against the advertised price offered by the competitor, i.e. this does not include additional promotional activities such as clearance sales, loyalty card points, cashback schemes and voucher codes.
10.7. We will not price match against marketplace sites such as Amazon or auction sites such as Ebay.
10.8. All Price Promise transactions are carried out at the discretion of Curtains.com
10.9. We reserve the right to withdraw the Price Promise at any time.

Terms and Conditions for Using the Website
